Colorado Young Leaders to Hold Summit Celebration Fundraising event to support development of youth leadership skills
DENVER, CO (July 21, 2015): Colorado Young Leaders a youth service and leadership organization will hold a fundraising Summit Celebration event on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Cherokee Ranch and Castle. Denver, Douglas and Arapahoe community members are invited to purchase tickets online at www.coloradoyoungleaders.org
The “Summit Celebration”, sponsored by Statera, Hosting, OneMain Financial and S&D Marketing Advertising, will benefit high-potential Young Leaders with scholarships, programming, platform development and ongoing organization support. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the young leaders and Nicole Mahobian, Founder and President of Colorado Young Leaders.
The event begins at 5pm, with registration, a beer garden, silent auction and music by Saboteurs kicking off the festivities. The Saboteurs is a band made up of South High School students that have been playing together for 3 years. Check-in will be at the registration table located near the entrance of the castle.
“This event is truly intended to celebrate our student leaders who have served over 10,000 hours within the Denver, Douglas and Arapahoe Counties representing over 30 high schools since our inception,” said Darci Barlow, Board President. “We are thrilled to have our first fundraising event to celebrate and highlight the amazing work that has been completed by these student leaders to date. Our Service Adventures support the National Ski Center for the Disabled and Colfax Community Network to name a few partners.”
During the event, participants are invited to dinner, catered by Catering by Design and entertainment provided by Rotten Uncles. Rotten is a three-person band who plays current hit music with a blast to the past of 80’s pop rock.
