Truth or Dare Denver

You’ve seen one of those ads on TV that tell you Las Vegas is calling and that you need to visit the Sin City because ‘What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’. Or maybe you’ve seen one of those ads that show the beautiful landscape of Wyoming telling you to ‘Roam free’ and get up and visit our neighboring state and explore their outdoors.  And after you’ve seen another state’s advertisement, haven’t you always wondered what Colorado’s visitor bureau, or Visit Denver, comes up with to advertise our state?

I know I have always wondered this and didn’t put forth much effort to discover Colorado’s ad campaigns until after I read a New York Times article called Denver ‘Dares’ You to Visit, and That’s the ‘Truth’. It’s a great article that describes Visit Denver’s new advertising campaign they are calling the Truth or Dare campaign and how they plan to lure visitors in for the summer.

Overall, I think it’s a clever campaign and brings up a lot of great activities to do around Denver that people wouldn’t normally think of. I also like how they are trying to target more of the attention around the city of Denver, rather than just focusing on the Rocky Mountains that people are more accustomed to think of when they think of Colorado.

I suggest you take a look at all the truths and dares on their website to make sure you are maximizing your summer in Colorado to its full potential. Or maybe you have some out of town guests that are coming this summer that you need to entertain. Either way, I think it’s a great list of ideas and activities to keep in mind as the summer rolls through.

Are there any additional Truths or Dares you would add to the list?
