With a focus on building business relationships and effective networking practices in telecommunications, Adaptive Spirit is a not-for-profit organization benefitting the U.S. Paralympics Ski and Snowboard Team. Adaptive Spirit has been partnering with S&D since 2005.
For over a decade, we have worked with Adaptive Spirit to elevate their brand and protect their brand integrity. Each year, we define and execute the strategy for their annual fundraising event. We develop a new creative concept, and then – working with vendors, sponsors, volunteers, developers, and the board of directors – apply it consistently to all event tactics, including promotional materials, e-communication, site signage, and social outreach. It’s a yearlong endeavor, one that’s close to our hearts, and every year Adaptive Spirit comes back to us as their trusted partner.
In 2016, in addition to our work on the annual event materials, we updated the Adaptive Spirit logo to give it a bolder, more modern look.
For Adaptive Spirit’s 20th Anniversary, they wanted something special. We took that to heart, creating a bold look and feel that reflected, and celebrated, the mission and longevity of this venerable organization.
As the need for a stronger digital presence emerged, we expanded our focus to integrate more social engagement into the event. From a comprehensive mobile app to robust social media and e-communication outreach, we increased awareness among a broader audience and connected with event attendees.
Adaptive Spirit wanted its 2013 event campaign to capitalize on the good will and recognition of the new event name – and updated look and feel – developed in 2012.
A name change can cause confusion. After 17 years as SkiTAM, the newly named Adaptive Spirit needed a strong branding campaign to spread the word to sponsors and attendees. We established a plan and developed exciting new creative to highlight the name change while staying true to the core brand.
